Skin disease can affect children differently than adults. Additionally, there are many skin disorders that primarily affect children. Our providers have received training in pediatric dermatology and has experience treating children with skin problems. Some of the diseases treated in our clinic include:

• Atopic Dermatitis (commonly referred to as Eczema)
• Psoriasis
• Warts
• Skin infections
• Vitiligo
• Alopecia Areata
• Birthmarks, including Port Wine Stains
• Infantile Hemangiomas

Our staff is sensitive to the needs of children and parents and we understand that any health concern in a child can be very distressing for the entire family.

Some skin disorders in children do require evaluation by pediatric dermatology specialists. In the event this is required, our providers have a strong relationship with the Pediatric Dermatology Division at OHSU and can coordinate referral and follow-up if needed.
